The Good Stuff 1. Good background and research on companies, so you learned about the companies 2. Owning the company 3. Able to apply what we have learned in class – using the ratios to analyze in “everyday life”. 4. Confidence in front of audience 5. Projecting voice well so audience could hear 6. Good teamwork 7. Critiques by the external evaluators 8. Professional attire by presenters 9. Answering questions to the best of their knowledge 10. Still teaching via instructor’s questions 11. Attentive audience 12. Selling even the unsellable
Areas for improvement 1. PPTs – some info was not readable a. Font size b. Colors and contrasts, backgrounds 2. Lots of pictures 3. It is a power POINT, not a power PARAGRAPH 4. Transitions – some were distracting 5. Extemporaneous delivery – some were too dependent on notes or on words on slide 6. Be prepared for all sorts of questions 7. More research in certain areas 8. Some of the graphics didn’t communicate their message clearly 9. Be specific to the point of the presentation 10. Speaking clearly, enunciation
